 I have been a part of the Sarasota growth story since 1977. A successful business owner with two decades in sales, I attained recognition as a top producer in new home and homesite sales for four years running before joining Michael Saunders & Company "Licensed Real Estate Broker" as a sales associate in 1998.
I know Sarasota through my years on the Board of the St. Armands Merchant Association; the Board of the Sarasota Junior League; the Osprey-Hillview Merchants Association; the New College Library Association; Key Chorale; and various neighborhood associations; and clubs including the University Club and Longboat Key Club. I have also been a member of the Homebuilder's Association, and the Sales and Marketing Council.
My training at Southern Methodist University in art, art history and marketing prepared me for a career in representing and managing exceptional properties. I have achieved the CSP (Certified New Home Sales Professional) designation for new home specialists.
I have been giving "New Home Advice" for most of my real estate career, listing and selling brand new and nearly new dream homes in Lakewood Ranch and Palmer Ranch, and fine homes and homesites on the mainland and Sarasota's barrier islands. I have also been involved in numerous renovation projects in which my knowledge of construction and design has proven invaluable.
